| Seville Region hosts the capital of Andalusia. Roman, Arabic,
Renaissance, Baroque, all of these are applied to this region,
which also show in the cultural attractions. This area has
also become one of the most universal, best known and most
visited area's in the world, birthplace and inspiration of
many writers, painters and artists. The area boasts many beautiful
landmarks and wonderful architecture, if we add to this its
taverns, its cuisine, its festivals, and the humour and hospitality
of its people, we have formed an area, full of colour, drama,
light, music, joy and tradition which is difficult to match
anywhere in Europe. |

Estepa a beautiful town belonging
to the Campiña district, located on a slope of
Sierra Becerrero, in the south-eastern part of the province,
near the border with the province of Malaga. From the
castle there is a splendid view of the surrounding landscape
of fields of cereals and olive trees. It is known as
the town of sweets, since it is the one which produces
the greatest amount of sweets in Spain. It is also famous
for its history and works of art. Declared a historic
artistic centre in 1965, it has a large number of monuments
and interesting buildings. |

La Roda de Andalucia, belonging
to the Campiña region, located in the south-eastern
part of the province, at the limit with the province
of Malaga. Its landscape is composed of predominantly
flat farmland covered with olive groves, which represent
its main resource. Its most important monuments are
the Church of Santa Ana and the Hermitage of the Virgen
de los LLanos. |

Marchena founded by the Romans
located in the fertile valley of the Corbones river,
in the centre of the Campiña region, between
El Arahal and Écija. Called the "Bella desconocida"
(beautiful stranger), it comprises a beautiful group
of monuments, streets and noble residencies in which
artists, folklore and gastronomy are of great importance.
It has many places of interest, including the Ramparts,
of which the arch of la Rosa or Puerta de Sevilla stands
out due to its perfect state of conservation. |

Osuna. City belonging to the Campiña
region, in the eastern part of the province. Its location
on a hilltop, along the sides of which its streets and
typical Sevillian houses spread out, offers a splendid
view of the surrounding landscape of olive groves and
fields of cereals. Osuna is one of the most monumental
cities of the province, due to the fact that it was
the centre of a duchy which brought it splendour and
riches, especially in the 16th, 17th and 18th centuries.
A walk through its streets enables the visitor to admire
its beautiful residences and palaces, its charming houses
and buildings. Some of its most important monuments
are the University, a true Renaissance masterpiece,
the former court house (Antiguos Juzgados) and the Palace
of the Marqués de la Gomera. |

Morón de la Frontera set
in a rich agricultural region crossed by the Guadaira
and Guadalete rivers, between the Sierra Sur and the
Campiña region. The generally flat landscape
consists of fields used to cultivate cereals, olive
trees, herbaceous plants and cotton. The gleaming white
town contains many beautiful residences, little palaces,
churches and old convents which reveal the splendour
of its past. The marble from the local quarry is used
in many of its staircases and facades. The rich history
of the town is evidenced by monuments such as the Castle
and Churches. |

Casariche a small village belonging
to the Campiña district, located where the provinces
of Seville, Malaga and Cordoba meet. Its flat or gently
rolling farm land is used to cultivate cereals and olive
trees. The only monument of interest is the Church of
the Encarnación. |
